ssr2

I'm still reading Friday Night lights, and I ve been reading chapter three which is all about (James) Bobbie miles. Its really interesting to read about him you learn a lot more about him by reading the book, then watching the movie. Some of the similarities, are how his pretty cocky. "... And unquenchable feeling that no one on that field, no one, was as good as he was." they talk a little bit about his past and his junior season. I guess he got rattled easily, and was quick to get frustrated in the games. They talk about the one game that his dad got to see, when he had 8 carries, 232 yards, and 3 touchdowns. It also shows his sensititve, when it says he came of the field crying because one of the other players had called him a nigger. I think its just cool to see hoe in depth they talk about him and you learn stuff you didn't know about him from watching the movie.

ssr

My ssr book is Friday night lights im not to far into because i only really read it during class time. But so far i like the book its a lot different then the movie, you relize lots of stuff you didnt know about in the movie. Chapter one descirbes the setting and what kind of town Permein is, which is all about football. And right now im in the second chapter which is going into detail about Booby Miles the star of the team. its really intresting.

OMM movie

I thought the movie was a lot like the book. I didn't think that Lennie and George were going to be that old, I thought they would be a little younger. Candy was just like I imagined he would be like. There were a few differences, just little things like Lennie throwing the dog across the room, stuff like that, that just wasn't in the movie. But I think that movie was a lot like the book.

Of mice and men was a good book i liked lennie. i liked the activity when we got to think up our own piece of land and what we'd do with it. My least favorite thing was the poetry part, im not a big poetry guy.
