Freewrite 2

"Who do you suppose the dye job was really for? Write about someone who has obviously dyed his/her hair."

Well there is this guy that i see in the halls that i know. He bleached his hair and im not really sure why, maybe he did it because he wanted to. Or maybe he did it to try to look better for his girlfriend, or maybe just look better for all the girls. He could have done it to be part of the group, maybe he lost a bet. Maybe he did it because his mom told him to, or maybe he did it to make his mom mad? You never really know unless your that person. Maybe they just did it to do it?

I've been reading the Lion, the witch and the wardrobe. I'm going to do an acrostic for my blog. So the part i'm reading right now, Edmund goes into the wardrobe after lucy trying to find her and he ends up finding his way into Narnia. When he gets there he is met by the white witch and takes him up into her sleigh and cast a spell on him and tells him to bring all his brothers and sister to her and she will give him more food(the spell).

No one lives in this big house with the professor.
Air raids cause the kids to to live with him away from there home.
Rain keeps the kids in the house one day.
No one hides in the wardrobe, but lucy.
In the wardrobe she finds
A man named Mr. Tummus

Free Write

"Why are they quiet? Create a scene where there are many people but no one is speaking. Describe it with writing."

Ok i see a group of people sitting in a group, and they are all quite because they are having a momment of silence before they got out on the feild to play their opponents. They are all focusing in on what they as indiviuals need to do and what they as a team need to do. They all sit around in their gear, slowly building up waiting for the momment to come when they get to run out onto that feild and play the game they love and take it to their opponents.

I started a new book called the lion the with and the wardrobe, its by C.S. Lewis, and its part of a series of books. For this book I thought I would do a visualization. In the book it says that Lucy starts to feel here way to the back of the wardrobe and all of a sudden she feels trees instead of coats, and snow beneath her feet. Then she sees a man, but not a man a man from the waste up but animal from the waste down standing at the light pole with an umbrella. i can just see a half man half like horse standing there holding an umbrella, its kind of a funny image.

ssr2

I'm still reading Friday Night lights, and I ve been reading chapter three which is all about (James) Bobbie miles. Its really interesting to read about him you learn a lot more about him by reading the book, then watching the movie. Some of the similarities, are how his pretty cocky. "... And unquenchable feeling that no one on that field, no one, was as good as he was." they talk a little bit about his past and his junior season. I guess he got rattled easily, and was quick to get frustrated in the games. They talk about the one game that his dad got to see, when he had 8 carries, 232 yards, and 3 touchdowns. It also shows his sensititve, when it says he came of the field crying because one of the other players had called him a nigger. I think its just cool to see hoe in depth they talk about him and you learn stuff you didn't know about him from watching the movie.

My ssr book is Friday night lights im not to far into because i only really read it during class time. But so far i like the book its a lot different then the movie, you relize lots of stuff you didnt know about in the movie. Chapter one descirbes the setting and what kind of town Permein is, which is all about football. And right now im in the second chapter which is going into detail about Booby Miles the star of the team. its really intresting.

OMM movie

I thought the movie was a lot like the book. I didn't think that Lennie and George were going to be that old, I thought they would be a little younger. Candy was just like I imagined he would be like. There were a few differences, just little things like Lennie throwing the dog across the room, stuff like that, that just wasn't in the movie. But I think that movie was a lot like the book.
